"Old" Content
Old content, falls into two categories: content we've archived, and content we've labeled HoMF 1.0.
HoMF 1.0 content is a lot of our material from roughly mid-2025 and earlier. Rob spent a long time testing the theories in the freedom and sovereign community, and once he started approaching things from an administrative perspective with the assistance of AI in finding deficiencies it resulted in much greater success in court. When that happened, we marked a lot of the older content so people would know it predates that shift. If you're searching the site, you'll sometimes come across a little icon for it, and on the content itself there's a message and a link to an article that explains all of this. The same flag appears in the media library - an exclamation mark in a triangle, with the same message. The thing to keep in mind is that some of the theories in that material might not be what we're currently using. That doesn't mean the content is bad or that you shouldn't look at it — just don't get attached to the ideas. If you have a question about any of it, drop a comment in the community forum and ask; we can break down where our current stance is.
Archived content is a little different. Sometimes we build a better course or lesson to replace an old one, so we archive the old version. That doesn't carry the same "we don't support this anymore" meaning as HoMF 1.0, though there's some overlap. It has its own icon and a message saying "this content is archived" - it usually just means we've put it away because we have something better, but you can still find it. There are only two places archived content shows up: in search, and in the sitemap. If you're just browsing pages, courses, lessons, or documents, archived content won't appear in lists by default.
In the search form, archived content is included by default, but you can switch that to exclude it, or to show only archived content. The sitemap works the same way - included by default, with options to exclude it or view only archived items.
You'll come across old content fairly often, since everything from mid-2025 and earlier is 1.0 content. If you ever wonder whether something in it is still valid, or why we archived a particular thing, ask us - through a support request if you're not a member, or a topic in the community forum if you are. We're more than happy to explain our current thinking, and it helps the community too.

Welcome, everybody. In this walkthrough, we are going to go over what I am going to just call old content on the House of Markets Fellowship website, and that falls under two different categories. So we have content that we have archived, and we have content that we have labeled HoMF 1.0 content.

What I mean when I say HoMF 1.0 content is I'm talking about a lot of our content that is from, let's say, mid-2025 and earlier. And so if we go to the actual content itself, you can also see there's a message right here. And there's also a link to this article. So this is the actual article where it explains what I was just talking about. We're not going to go into all that right now, but I'm just going to show you how we display this on our website so that you can be aware. So you can come across content with the warning like this. We also have this one in our media library.

So when you come across that, the only thing to keep in mind is some of the theories and things that we're talking about there might not be things that we are currently using.

It's not to say that the content is bad or that you shouldn't look at it, it's more just don't get attached to any of the ideas and what we are talking about here. The other type of old content that we have is archived content. Archived content is a little different. Sometimes we just have a course or lesson or something that we've come up with a new one, a better one, and so we'll archive the old one. It doesn't necessarily mean that the things I was saying about HoMF 1.0 content where we don't support it anymore. There is some overlap, and so let's look.

So you can see here, this is a different icon. So you can see this says, "This content is archived." And if you go to the archived content, it will have a message here like this. So it's a little bit different, but this usually just means that we're putting it away, and we've come up with something better, but you can still find it on the website. There are only two ways that you'll come across archived content on the site. One of them is through search here, and the other one is in our site map, which we'll go over that separately.

But if you're just looking through pages, if you're going through courses and lessons or documents, archived content will not show in lists by default. So you'll only come across it in the search or on the site map. If you are looking for content and you want to make sure that you're not going to come up with something that's archived, we do have this in our search form right here. So by default, archived content will be included, but you can change that to no and search for things that are not archived, or you can change that to only show archived content.]

So there are different ways you can look at it. Another place that you can look at archived content is through our site map. So by default, our site map, just like the search, will include archived content, but you can come here and you can exclude archived content, or you can look at only archived content. So if you are looking at the site map, that might be a useful thing as well.

And that wraps up the walkthrough of old content on our website. And you'll come across it quite often because everything mid-2025 earlier is the 1.0 content, right?
