Church 508(c)(1)(A)
This course informs members about the basics of setting up, operating and defending a church formed according to 26 U.S.C. § 508(c)(1)(A). There is a lot of misconception, misinformation and misunderstanding about an unincorporated church that does not register for exemption status under 501(c)(3) of the federal tax code. This course hopes to provide members with grounded basics as to this type of church which is excepted by the tax code. As always, we encourage fellowship members to do their own research for a personal and deeper understanding.
Overview - 508 Church
[00:00:00]
Alright, this is our 508 church course. A 508 church gets its name, or what's been given that name, in the communities, if you will, under 508c1a, which is under the tax code. Title 26 of the tax code. So, United States Code, Title 26, Section 508, and then c1a, subsection c1a, says that churches, their integrated auxiliaries, conventions, and associations of churches are accepted from filing for 501c3 non exempt status and can still have all the benefits of an exempt church. So they do not have to file.
[00:00:54]
Churches do not have to file anything. Everybody's hoodwinked. These churches are all hoodwinked into filing for 501c3 status, effectively making them creatures of the state at that point. So there's a lot of myth around these 508 churches, too. A lot of misunderstandings, a lot of misapplication. People trying to use 508 for things that aren't churches.
[00:01:15]
They're trying to use them for PMAs that you can't use 508 for PMAs. It doesn't work that way. We did create a church trust and UA model that incorporates the church, the trust and the UA, all three unincorporated organizations together. But that's a very complex structure and we will put that together for you, if you inquire. However, the 508 church, this course is designed to give you the basics of the 508 church and give you again, just like all these courses, grounding, grounding of the fundamentals of what this organization is all about and how you can in fact use it if you feel spiritually called to set one up.
[00:02:00]
And to do your spiritual work through this organization, through this unincorporated organization. Just like our other unincorporated organizations, we do offer a Church Trust UA model. We used to offer that for download for those who donated for it or gave us a contribution for it, but we're no longer doing that because our work has gotten stolen and it's been sold for thousands and thousands of dollars.
[00:02:28]
And it's our work. It's our model. It was our ideas, things like that. So from now on, if you want something like this, just a church or if you want the church trust UA model, you can inquire by going to member support, putting in a ticket. You can go in the community forum and private message one of us, and we will go ahead and get you started on that.
[00:02:49]
We'll give you pricing, all of that, we’ll see what your needs and desires are and where you want to go with the church and customize it to your needs. But this is not going to be offered anymore, simply because people have this idea that just setting these up is all they need to be protected, and the government can't touch them, and that's just simply not true.
[00:03:10]
We won't steer people down that road, and we will give them a quality product, but we will not sell them on the idea that this is an untouchable thing, because everything is touchable. It's how we defend it, which is why we have the education, so that people can begin to learn to defend these organizations.
[00:03:31]
From their legal name, themselves, all the way to their trust, their PMA if they have one, their church. We want people to be able to understand what makes these things private and how to protect them. So if you're interested in having one of these organizations developed for you, please go to the support center and put a ticket in and inquire. Thank you.
