Mailing Procedure

This course is a practical, beginner-friendly walkthrough of how to mail notices in the United States when the mailing itself may later become evidence. It teaches the purpose and value of USPS Certified Mail and Return Receipt, what each service proves, and how to create a reliable proof trail that supports deadlines, follow-up, and escalation. Students learn how to prepare a notice packet up to 20 pages, choose an appropriate envelope, keep documents readable and organized, and build a “proof packet” that includes copies, receipts, tracking documentation, and returned signature proof.

The course breaks the process into five short lessons: core mailing concepts, Certified Mail (Form 3800), Return Receipt (PS Form 3811), assembling a clean notice package, and a post-office workflow that ensures the receipt is scanned, stamped, logged, and tracked to delivery. By the end, members can confidently send notices in a consistent, repeatable way and maintain records that withstand disputes about what was sent, when it was sent, and whether it was delivered.

For members currently self-litigating (pro se/pro per) or interested in self-litigating ANY legal issue in the future, we strongly recommend the purchase and study of the Jurisdictionary course for a base understanding of court process and procedure. We've made a short three-minute video explaining why it's important for EVERYONE in communities like ours.
