Forming Sacred Structure Within the Private Fellowship
◊ MISUNDERSTANDINGS ABOUT PRIVATE ORGANIZATION
Many who seek to live privately are told that forming a “trust,” “church,” or “association” automatically shields them from taxes or regulation. Such claims are often oversimplified or inaccurate.
Any public agency may bring a claim against any individual or group, regardless of the paperwork filed. What matters is the lawful creation, internal stewardship, and spiritual intent of the organization, not the name it bears.
We have encountered many instances where paperwork was sound, but understanding was lacking—and the absence of proper recordkeeping or lawful response left individuals vulnerable. Private organization is not a loophole or shield, it is a sacred responsibility.
◊ FOUNDATIONS IN LAW AND SPIRIT
Within the House of Markus Fellowship, we hold that private organization must reflect a lawful and spiritually aligned foundation. This includes understanding how to form and maintain:
- 508(c)(1)(A) fellowships and ministries as spiritual expressions of divine purpose;
- Irrevocable private trusts that honor natural law and protect sacred property under private contract;
- Unincorporated associations devoted to the good of the community, not commercial gain.
All of these forms exist not to escape public obligations, but to fulfill a higher calling, to govern one's affairs in peace, in truth, and without controversy, in alignment with divine law.
The House of Markus Fellowship is a private integrated auxiliary of the Unity of Divine Creation Ministry. Our work arises as part of our charitable and spiritual duty, not as a public offering or business activity.
◊ A FELLOWSHIP OF STRUCTURE AND PURPOSE
Members of the Fellowship walk together in shared discovery—exploring spiritual and lawful principles for right living, covenantal organization, and stewardship of private affairs.
Within the fellowship, members may engage with writings, illustrations, and experiential insights relating to:
- The nature and governance of private trusts and fellowships,
- Lawful administration and internal recordkeeping,
- Distinctions between public privilege and private right,
- Non-controversial responses to external inquiry or challenge,
- And the embodiment of divine law within organizational form.
This is not a commercial endeavor. It is the shared work of a spiritual fellowship, offered in peace, upheld by trust, and guided by conscience.
◊ A PATH TO COVENANTAL ORDER
If you are discerning how to walk in sacred order, protect what is entrusted to you, or gather with others for good and lawful purpose, know that you are not alone. The House of Markus Fellowship exists as a space for such reflection and alignment.
