What's the difference between a PMA and a Trust?
A PMA, properly called an unincorporated association (UA), is an association of people gathered for a common purpose or enterprise under and agreement. A trust is an entity for holding assets, and thereby giving legal ownership and title to one or more trustees, for the benefit of another. Our members have access to legal authorities in our library on both trusts and UA’s to help members better understand these structures and the laws that apply to them.
