Can I turn my business into a PMA?

Businesses are designed for profit. A Private Member Association (PMA), properly termed an Unincorporated Association (UA) can be a for profit enterprise but are often not for profit. It is designed under the right to assemble peaceably and for a wide range of purposes including charitable which can male them non-profit. It takes thought, planning, and understanding to operate in the private sector as a membership that is not making a profit. Understanding profit vs. non-profit is crucial. There are many "PMA" salesmen out there that sell the paper to establish the association, often legally very weak paper, as if it is an alternative to doing business that the "government has no right to touch". This is both untrue and dangerous.
