New Site Tutorial Lessons and Content Engagement

Hello there, members, users and guests! It has been a few months since we've pushed out updates for new functionality on the website, and this past one kept us VERY busy over the past three months. For starters, you may have noticed we've worked in our lovely purple into the layout!

We've updated our site to showcase our documents in a new way. We think this is better than splitting them up into the three pages they were before, and helps people see what we have to offer and navigate it in a new manner. Also, our document templates pages have new features like being able to link and relate to other content and media on the site.

As part of that, all of our content is now capable of having featured videos on it, and we are going to start doing this for more and more (if not all) of the content on the website. It's ESSENTIAL to read to be able to grasp the subject matter of the education here, but we understand that digesting information in a video format can be more easier. So, in addition to lots of written resources in the library, and links to them, most of our content will now have videos with it as well.

We've also upgraded our abilities when it comes to cross-linking content and media. You'll notice that on each page, the section for related content has undergone a facelift. We also can now cross-link media between our media library, and content such as events and lessons. Check out the those sections on this page to see what I am talking about!

Probably the biggest feature-add to all of this was the ability to track your engagement with content. We've added sections to your user account that has overviews this new feature with content and another new page for engagement with media, which has existed in our library for some time now. This roll out of engagement with content has the new ability to take notes on the content, and the media engagement now has that same functionality.

And last but certainly not least is the roll out of our Start Here course which is for a basic overview of what the fellowship is about, and how to use the website. Everything that I've mentioned here is discussed in this new course and its lessons, so make sure to check it out to get a full understanding of these new features.

This is one we're really excited about so please do let us know in the community forum what you think, if you experience any issues, or you have any suggestions for how we can make the site work better for all of you!
