We've been making updates to the website in November and December. If you run into any issues, especially with accessing content, contact support and we will address them ASAP!

Members from Privateestatetrust.org

Welcome to the new website, members! For existing members who created their account on the website at privateestatetrust.org there are a few steps that you need to take to get set up with full access to the new website. We've created a page with instructions on how to join for new users that will provide additional insights, so we suggest looking at that as well. But, there are a couple of additional steps existing members will need to take so we will go over those here.

First, If you have not already done so, make sure to add the domains "houseofmarkus.org" and "mail.houseofmarkus.org" to your email service's whitelist so our emails do not end up in your spam folder. Emails from us will come from one of these domains (or privateestatetrust.org until we lay that domain to rest). Instructions on how to do this are unique for each email service provider (Google, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc) so a quick search on the web should be able to help you find out how to do that.

Next, reset your password. Encrypted passwords cannot be migrated from one system to another. This means that everyone that created a user account on the old site will need to reset their password to be able to log into the new site. If you attempt to reset your password and do not receive an email, and have completed the task in the above paragraph, and it's not in your spam folder, please contact us. Some accounts from the old site may not have been transferred properly, especially accounts that had changed their email. Do not worry, we will work with you to make sure your account is set up properly.

The next two steps will be to confirm your email and agree to the terms and conditions. We have a new system for our documents, so you will execute your signature with your mouse or using the touch pad on your device. Our terms and conditions are the NDA addendum to the membership agreement from the old site. We encourage you to re-read it; there is nothing new but there are formatting changes to update it for our new document system.

Then, review your member details. The how to join page will have a link, or you can find it in your user account area in the left column. The main thing we need from you here is to review your country and state and make sure they are both properly filled in and neither of them say "Other". Our old site had people type these in, which resulted in different spellings and formats which we are going to standardize.

Executing your signature for the membership agreement document will be the next step (link on the how to join page). Again, this is the same as the agreement from the old site. We encourage you to re-read that as well. This will generate a document that you can download and save - something we know members were interested in.

The last step is to review your membership donation (link in how to join page, and also in user account area). All existing members should have a pre-existing recurring donation set up. If you do not see your information, then it may not have been migrated properly. If that is the case please contact us and we will help make sure everything gets straightened out.

That's all! Once all these steps are done you will have full access to the site. From our estimates more than 95% of our members have been fully migrated from the old site to the new site. If your account was not migrated, or it was but you experience errors or issues during the process, please contact us so we can help you set it up.

For everyone that has stuck through it with us up until this point THANK YOU! Our new site has been a labor of love for about three years. We are very happy to be finally launching it. It provides us with a foundation upon which we can build anything we want with some ideas already germinating. Enjoy!
